The Rain Harvest Rebate Program Presents: Rain Barrel & Cistern Sales Event

Sunday, November 8, 2009; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Santa Monica Airport, 3050 Airport Avenue (site map available), Santa Monica, CA FREE admission REBATES available for all featured products.

The City of Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability & the Environment (OSE) is holding its first annual rainwater harvesting products showcase and sales event with many leading manufacturers and distributors participating. The event is FREE to the public and REBATES are available for all featured products.

Harvesting rainwater from your rooftop protects the Santa Monica Bay from polluted runoff, reduces potable water demand, and adds a little excitement to your life and landscape.

• Rain barrels are the easiest and least expensive way to get started. See examples of how to install the products, and take the product home with you.

• If rain barrels aren’t doing it for you, cisterns are the way to go. Holding anywhere from hundreds to thousands of gallons, cisterns will be on display for the professionals or the more adventurous among us.

The products, local expertise and rebates will all be available, so get the details and make the change. We’ll be waiting for you.
